Laurence Juber with special guest John York

His LJ Plays The Beatles was voted one of Acoustic Guitar Magazine's all-time Top Ten albums, and Laurence Juber released LJ Can't Stop Playing the Beatles in March of 2017. The acoustic stylings of the Grammy Winning former lead guitarist of Paul McCartney's Wings are emotive, melodic, and unequaled. John York brings his days on tour with the Sir Douglas Quintet, Johnny Rivers, and the Mamas and the Papas and combines them with a heavy dose of Dylan-by way of Mr. York's flight with the Bryds--at Bogie's once again by popular demand.

Laurence Juber

GRAMMY® winning guitarist Laurence Juber is a solo performer, recording artist, composer and arranger. His playing fuses folk, jazz, blues, pop and classical styles, creating a multi-faceted performance that belies the use of only one instrument.
A music graduate of London's Goldsmith's College, he was featured guitar soloist with the National Youth Jazz Orchestrabefore becoming established as a studio musician in the mid-1970's. First internationally recognized as lead guitarist in Beatle Paul McCartney's Wings, with whom he won a Grammy, Juber has since established himself as world-renowned guitar virtuoso and entertainer.
Juber, known to his fans as LJ, has released 25 solo albums which spotlight his unique touch and tone on acoustic guitar. The latest, LJ Can't Stop Playing The Beatles! is the third in his series of arrangements by the Fab Four.
His LJ Plays The Beatles was voted one of Acoustic Guitar Magazine's all-time Top Ten albums. His solo arrangement of The Pink Panther Theme earned him a second Grammy, while his arrangement of Stand By Me was heard nationally in a Diamonds Are Forever commercial. Juber's DVD-Audio project Guitar Noir(AIX Records) won a CES Demmy award for best audio.
His 'photo memoir' Guitar With Wings was recently published by Dalton Watson Fine Books.
As a studio musician, he can be heard on recordings from artists as diverse as Dan Hicks & The Hot Licks, Seal and the French chanteuse Sylvie Vartin, plus he is featured on the soundtracks to hundreds of TV shows such as Home Improvement and movies including the academy award-winning Dirty Dancing, Good Will Hunting and Pocahontas.

Juber co-composed the soundtrack of the award-winning video game Diablo III and scored the NBC Dateline documentaryChildren Of The Harvest. His music is also featured in the Ken Burns' documentary The Tenth Inning.

John York

The Byrds' John York celebrates the inspiration of the songs of Bob Dylan--without abandoning his days on tour Sir Douglas Quintet, Johnny Rivers, and the Mamas and the Papas --with a solo acoustic set featuring a wide range of songs from the Dylan catalog, and other fond memories. York mesmerizes while exposing the depth, breadth and versatility of the man who may be America's Greatest Living Songwriter. From "Mr. Tamborine Man" and "My Back Pages" to "I'll Remember You", the former member of the Byrds mines the richness that lies in the well known and lesser known virtues of the works of Bob Dylan.
John York was a member of the Byrds in 1968 and 1969, touring and participating in the recording of "Dr Byrds and Mr Hyde" and "The Ballad of Easy Rider". The songs of Bob Dylan were as important to the group then as during any period in their existance, and Mr. York shows why in this memorable evening.
