Hailing from Hollywood CA, Ronn Moss grew up around the entertainment industry. He knew at 11 years old after watching the Beatles appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show that he wanted to play music and taught himself the bass guitar and drums. RoNN then formed his own bands and started playing in clubs around Los Angeles way before he was of legal age to be in those clubs.

It was in the late 70s that he met Peter Beckett and JC Crowley and together with RoNN’s high school friend John Friesen formed the band, “PLAYER.” The band was signed by famed manager Robert Stigwood to his RSO records label and garnered and handful of top 40 hits including the #1 enduring smash hit, “Baby Come Back.” PLAYER began tourin with Eric Clapton, Heart, Kenny Loggins, Boz Skaggs, Little River Band, Gino Vannelli, as well as headlining their own concerts. On the recommendation of Robert Stigwood, and because PLAYER was experiencing a slowdown within the record industry, RoNN decided to try his hand at acting and quickly landed his first film entitled, “Hearts and Armor” that filmed in Sicily and Rome, Italy. Following a progression of movies, TV shows and commercials, led RoNN to originate the iconic role of Ridge Forrester for the CBS Daytime drama, “The Bold And The Beautiful.” Over the next 25 years the show became a worldwide sensation spanning 130 countries, making RoNN an internationally recognized face and personality.

RoNN has continued doing music over the years and has done two solo CDs, “I’m Your Man” and “UnCovered” along with two solo tours in Australia. He has played himself in movies for Italy, “Christmas In Love” and won 2nd place on Italy’s version of “Dancing With The Stars.” In 2012 RoNN decided to exit the role of Ridge Forrester and go into multiple Emmy winning  producing with the hit Amazon Prime series, “The Bay” in which he also plays the character of John Blackwell. RoNN was one of the voices in the animated movie, “Bolt” and he’s now interested in producing and directing his own movie, “411.” He is embarked on another Australian tour in 2014 with his band PLAYER. RoNN, along with his long time musical partner, Peter Beckett, now have a new PLAYER CD available entitled, “Too Many Reasons.” RoNN has recently appeared with his wife, Devin Devasquez, on the hit ABC series, “Celebrity Wife Swap.” RoNN is a man of many talents and also loves photography, martial arts, target gun shooting and horseback riding. He has traveled to many countries around the world to host, appear or film a variety of commercials, campaigns and television projects. Together with his Cajun wife, Devin, they have created a wonderful spice called “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning” which helps raise money for the rebuilding of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. In addition, Ronn is about to launch his own brand of comfort food, RoNN’s Gourmet BBQ Sauce. Ronn and Devin are also supporters of The Thalians, which raises money and awareness for UCLA Operation Mend, helping our brave military men and women heal the wounds of war, physically and mentally. Songs of Love which helps terminally ill children and their families is also a project for this husband and wife duo. RoNN’s favorite pastime is relaxing at home with wife and two daughters and watching movies at home.

Ronn Moss and Friends is a collection of Ronn’s solo songs, as well as, popular cover songs. Here is a sneak peak video from his last concert in Estonia:

This is one of the largest blazes ever recorded in the state's history. Fueled by powerful winds and extraordinary dry weather conditions, the Thomas Fire has ravaged California, forcing hundreds of thousands of residents in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties to evacuate their homes without knowing what they will return to. Wind-whipped wildfires also raged through areas of northern Los Angeles, setting several homes ablaze near Bel Air and other exclusive neighborhoods including near the famed Getty Center and more. At its height, the Thomas Fire saw over 8,500 firefighters mobilized to fight it, which was the largest mobilization of firefighters for combating any wildfire in California history.

David Garfield has had the same mission statement since moving from his hometown of St. Louis to Los Angeles as a teenager in the early 70s: “I make music.” Fully living up to this vision and in more expansive ways over the past few decades, the multi-talented keyboardist and musical Renaissance Man has established himself an eclectic force in popular music. At any given point during his career—and often at the same time—he has been a renowned songwriter, producer, bandleader (of Los Angeles based contemporary world jazz collective Karizma), arranger, recording artist, record label owner (Creatchy Records), session and touring musician, musical director and composer of various commissioned themes for global organizations.

Reflecting on his extraordinary, diverse career, the Los Angeles based Garfield says, “It’s creatively invigorating to have the opportunity to do so many interesting musical projects, to see so many amazing places throughout the world, and to work with some of the greatest musicians both in L.A. and overseas. I feel as though I am always learning from the artists and musicians I work with, not simply on a musical level, but also benefiting from their wealth of stories and life and career experiences. There are always unexpected thrills along the way, from opening with his band for Sergio Mendez or Jason Mraz to recording in a studio next to Paul McCartney or Alice in Chains and having the opportunity to meet and get to know them. I love being involved in so many different aspects of music and the feeling that I truly never know what’s coming up next.

  • Alex Ligertwood - Vocals
  • Gregg Bissonette - Drums

KIKI EBSEN:

“Purely terrific”

— Myrna Daniels ~ L. A. Jazz Scene

“Kiki Ebsen is extraordinary, she and her Joni Mitchell Project bring magic to the stage ”

Susan Hartnett Davis ~ Director of Special Events Laguna Festival of Arts

For the past two years Kiki Ebsen has enjoyed bringing the diverse catalog of Joni Mitchell's songs to those who resonate in the elegant music and profound lyrics. With her solo CD, "Cool Songs, Vol. 2: The Music of Joni Mitchell," Kiki presents listeners with fresh arrangements and honest emotion in the songs that personally touched her heart from the first time she heard them played on vinyl. She found audiences agreeing that "Joni's music must be played (and heard) often." Kiki's Joni Mitchell Project has received wide acclaim in performances from intimate jazz clubs to outdoor festivals. We're excited she's back at Bogies with Joni's catalog for a third time! You'll enjoy this special evening and the genius of the Joni Mitchell songbook. Kiki solos on piano on "Both Sides Now" and "Case of You," and shifts to guitar on "Coyote" and "Chelsea Morning," among others. You'll enjoy her band arrangements of "Woodstock," "Big Yellow Taxi," and "Free Man in Paris," from the best knowns songs as much as you'll love digging deep with tracks like "Blonde in the Bleachers," "Twisted," and "Sex Kills."  From Joni's earliest years to her later, more edgy, material, Kiki and her band pay tribute to Joni Mitchell, her music, style, originality and pure artistry. Don't miss it!

The first band to be called ‘the Rhythm Tramps’ was formed by Terry Wilson and Tony Braunagel when they were living in London back in the 70’s. They were touring at the time with the rock band, Back Street Crawler (which also featured the legendary Paul Kossoff on guitar and John ‘Rabbit’ Bundrick who has been a long time keyboard player with The Who) and they missed playing the Texas style blues that they had grown up with, so they formed the ‘Rhythm Tramps’ and performed in local pubs. It got to be quite a hang for London musicians – legendary singer, Frankie Miller was one of the regulars, which also included whoever happened to be in town. The transient nature of the players spawned the name, ‘the Rhythm Tramps’.

A SPECIAL NIGHT WITH THE MUSIC OF:

The classic '70s band featuring original singer Peter Beckett, writer of Player’s music, including their international #1 hit “Baby Come Back"

Special guest appearance by Elliot Lurie "Brandy, You're A Fine Girl"

HEAR THE #1 HITS BY THE ARTISTS THAT WROTE AND SANG THEM.

Peter Beckett and J.C. Crowley met each other at a Hollywood Party in early 1977. The two found each other interesting in their diversity: Beckett, a rock musician from Liverpool, England and Crowley, a country singer from Texas. Within a week, they started writing songs together. A short time later, they enlisted the help of Ronn Moss on bass and John Friesen on drums and Player was born.

After Robert Stigwood signed Player to RSO, they enjoyed success for many years following their number one single “Baby Come Back” which was written by Beckett and Crowley and sung by Beckett. They toured with Eric Clapton, Heart and Boz Scaggs among others. Eventually J.C. Crowley left the band to record a solo country album and Ronn Moss left the band and became "Ridge Forrester" on the CBS soap The Bold & The Beautiful for some 25 years.

Beckett continued to write and produce several more albums as Player. Concurrently, he spent nine years in Little River Band, writing several singles for them as well as a featured performer singing “Baby Come Back” at every show. He has also penned music for many movies and television shows including Karate Kid, St Elmo’s Fire, Frankie & Johnnie, Basic, Terminator 3, along with writing hits for other artists including Olivia Newton-John, Kenny Rogers, Heart and The Temptations. Player is still going strong with lead singer Peter Beckett at the helm and their current line-up of talented musicians including long-time Player lead guitarist Rob Math, guest drummer Burleigh Drummond of Ambrosia, keyboardist Francis "Buster" Akrey (Steely Dan) & bass player Mark Winley (Johnny Winter Band).
