Lamont Dozier, Jr. is a singer/songwriter whose musical influences range from gospel to soul and jazz roots. He hails from Detroit, Michigan, where he began his musical career, honing his talent for song, first in church, then branching out to local productions of television, radio, musicals, and then live entertainment venues and nightclubs.

He has shared many a stage with many music industry notables, such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Aretha Franklin, Ollie Woodson, Rick Braun and Gregg Karukas, Greg Manning, and Dave Koz, to name a few. He has also worked on show productions featuring Jennifer Hudson, and Jay Leno.

Lamont also shares strong roots to the legacy of Motown, as his father, Lamont Dozier, Sr. is one third of the world renowned songwriting team, Holland-Dozier-Holland, who wrote many hit songs for the label.

Lamont also had the honor of working with Dave Koz, on his certified Gold CD release of ”Dave Koz: Collaborations 25 Anniversary Collection”, and he is also a featured vocalist on” Bandzilla Rises”, from arranger and producer, Dr. Richard Niles.

Lamont also can be heard as a featured vocalist on the upcoming release of keyboardist David Garfield(Music director for George Benson).Other artists featured on this project are Oleta Adams, Michael McDonald, David Sanborn, and George Benson.

Lamont also reunited with Dave Koz and Rick Braun for their upcoming Holiday release album, featuring Kenny Lattimore and Jeffrey Osborne, to name a few.

Lamont is currently working with Don Peake, formerly of Ray Charles and the Wrecking Crew, and their new exciting project is titled, “Generations of Soul”, which features the musical legacy of Don Peake and the HDH catalogue from Motown.

Through his own unique musical talent and expression, Lamont seeks to continue the great musical heritage that was forged by those who preceded him, and, at the same, help usher in a new age of soul singers and entertainers , who blaze their trails as live performers, rooted in the great tradition of R&B and Soul and Jazz.

Accompanying Lamont will be Kevin Flournoy, Donnell Spencer, Jr., Darrell Crooks, Les King, and special guest Don Peake.

RESERVATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Westlake Village Inn reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions. Liability for damage to the event space will be charged to the Client.

Bogies will not assume any liability for theft or any other type of loss of personal property, which occurs prior to, during, or after your function.

As a licensee of the California State Liquor Commission, Bogies strictly adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to the sales, consumption, and service of alcoholic beverages. In particular, sale to minors and intoxicated persons.

In the event of natural disaster, extreme weather conditions, or terrorist attack, any portion of the event that is booked in any outdoor area will be moved based on available space and at Bogies discretion.

ARRIVAL TIME: Set up times are available 1 hour prior to your guest invite time. Your space will be held up to 1 hour after your designated arrival time. Your space will be released without refund should you fail to arrive within 1 hour of your guest arrival time.

MINIMUM: You must meet your food and beverage minimum with all consumables purchased on one tab through your personal designated server. Menu selection and meal counts must be received 1 week prior to function date. No changes in meal counts will be accepted 72 hours prior to the event date. After your minimum has been met, you may order through your server with separate tabs. Gratuity is not included in your minimum.

GUEST LIST: Your event has been allotted a specific number of persons to be included on your complimentary guest list. Upon arrival, you and your guests must enter the VIP line and provide party name along with valid I.D. Once the guest list max has been reached, there will be a cover charge of $10 per person unless a hotel key is presented along with room number and name on hotel reservation. You may also provide a specific guest list with the names of those whom you wish to receive waived entry.

DRESS CODE: The club reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest who does not meet dress code requirements. The following items will not be admitted; -T-shirts -Sports & Athletic Apparel -Sweatshirts & Sweatpants -Ill-fitting or Overly Rugged Clothing -Ball Caps -Flip flops -Sagging pants

CANCELLATION: Event may be cancelled or transferred to another date with 72 hours’ notice. You will be refunded your deposit in full. If the event is cancelled without 48 hour notice or the host fails to appear for the reservation, the deposit will not be available for refund.
