Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kiki Ebsen delivers beautiful piano on "Both Sides Now" and "Case of You," and shifts to guitar on "Coyote" and "Chelsea Morning," among others. You'll enjoy her band arrangements of "Woodstock," "Big Yellow Taxi," and "Free Man in Paris," as well as the deeper tracks like "Blonde in the Bleachers," and "Michael From Mountains". Kiki follows Joni through her early years of "Blue" and "Song to a Seagull" then explores her jazzy side with cuts from her "Mingus" record and "Wild Things Run Fast". She is, in fact, a respected songwriter whose compositions are included on albums by Boney James, Eric Marienthal, Jessy J, and others. Whether pop, rock, jazz, blues, covers or her own compositions, Kiki Ebsen is happiest in front of a microphone and keyboard, sharing music. Kiki’s “Scarecrow Sessions,” her 6th CD, honoring her dad, was released in 2014, and includes classic jazz standards, such as “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “Moon River,” “Easy to Love,” and more. In 2015, Kiki was inspired to develop a multimedia show, “To Dad with Love: A Tribute to Buddy Ebsen, honoring the life and career of her famous dad” The show features Kiki and her band of first-call jazz musicians, performing on stage against a stunning video presentation that she and her brother, Dustin Ebsen, an award-winning video editor, created with over 200 images of Hollywood’s best memories. Her Joni Mitchell Project, includes songs from nine of Joni’s albums, including “Song to a Seagull,” “For the Roses,” and “The Hissing of Summer Lawns.” In addition to these shows, Kiki’s schedule includes Symphony POPS, and solo appearances across the country. The band features multiple Grammy winner and former member of Chicago BILL CHAMPLIN (After the Love Has Gone and Turn Your Love Around), whose “distinctive, R&B soaked” vocal talent (Hard Habit to Break, Look Away) is considered by many to be one of the most recognizable voices in rock music. An impressive singer-songwriter/guitarist/ keyboardist/arranger & producer since 1966, Bill is also a founding member of the now legendary San Francisco band Sons of Champlin. Co-founder TAMARA CHAMPLIN is an American singer-songwriter known for her soulful vocals on Heart of Glass from Caddyshack II. She’s performed with Elton John, Leon Russell, The Blues Brothers, Mick Fleetwood, Andreas Carlsson, and Michael McDonald among many others. Tamara has co-written songs for the Doobie Brothers, Paul Rodgers, Rita Coolidge and Chicago. As an A-list guitarist & singer, co-founder GARY FALCONE has worked with Yes, Rod Stewart, Alice Cooper, Celine Dion, Starship, Randy Newman, Aaron Neville, Janet Jackson, Billy Joel, Patti LaBelle & more. Gary appeared and sang on the Justin Timberlake/Chris Stapleton-Live Performance video, Say Something. On keyboards & vocals MARY HARRIS is known for her work with Jimmy Buffet, Ambrosia, Animal Logic, Red Shoes and was the vocal arranger for three of Jimmy Buffett’s biggest selling albums. She also did session work for Pink Floyd and XTC. BURLEIGH DRUMMOND (Ambrosia, Frank Zappa, Mighty Mo Rodgers, The Lost Dogs, Player) is a founding member & drummer/percussionist for the group Ambrosia and has been at the helm of the group for 48 years. He’s done session work for everyone from Frank Zappa to Debby Boone to Alan Parsons and beyond. Together with wife Mary Harris Tin Drum was formed resulting in # CD releases. BILL BODINE is a producer, composer, arranger & bassist who’s been a fixture in the Los Angeles music community for 35 years. Since 1972, he’s toured & recorded with Van Morrison, Cher, Olivia Newton-John, Peter Criss (Kiss), Melissa Manchester, Sergio Mendez, Joan Armatrading & Michael McDonald. He’s written songs for Glenn Frey and the Manhattan Transfer, and has scored over 300 commercials, TV series/specials & films including the Michael Jackson Black & White Fox Special. Bodine also played trumpet and arranged horns on their new album BLEEDING SECRETS.

Internationally acclaimed Gypsy Jazz guitarist, Robin Nolan and the legendary Howard Alden, the guitarist that taught Sean Penn to play gypsy in Woody Allen’s film Sweet and Low Down, will be performing at Bogies, Tuesday, May 7th at 8:00 pm. Nolan is holding his Gypsy Jazz Retreat Workshop (gypsyjazzworldpassport.com) in Westlake Village and the culminating event will be the gig at Bogies featuring a first set with Nolan and the retreat players, and the second set with Nolan, Alden and some surprise guests. Bogies is located at 32001 Agoura Road, Westlake Village, CA 91361 (www.bogies-bar.com). The performance will start at 8:00 pm. Admission will be $15 at the door, first-come first-seated. Robin Nolan is one of the world’s best known and most admired gypsy jazz guitarists and has been praised for his musical genius and creativity by Willie Nelson, Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman, and the late George Harrison. Robin became one of George Harrison’s favorite guitarists and was his ‘secret weapon’ at many a party thrown at his English country estate Friar Park. Legendary in the Django Reinhardt world, Robin has headlined every major gypsy jazz festival across the globe and Nolan’s music is taking gypsy jazz into the 21st Century beyond Django Reinhardt and incorporating influences of The Beatles, Ravi Shankar and AC/DC. Howard, a native of Long Beach, California, began playing guitar at the age of ten with many influences including the infamous Django Reinhardt. In 1977–78 he studied jazz guitar at the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT) in Hollywood with Herb Ellis, Joe Pass, and Howard Roberts. He signed with Concord Jazz in 1980 and his association with the master of the seven-string guitar, George Van Eps, allowed Alden to become a master himself. Alden has recorded with many jazz greats including Jimmy Bruno, Herb Ellis, Frank Vignola, Michael Moore, Bill Goodwin, Lew Tabackin, and Renee Rosnes. Steve Miller has featured Alden on recording projects, and Howard has joined him for live appearances. Guitar virtuoso Leo Kottke said of Howard’s recent solo recording on K2B2 records; “It's the best recording of the seven-string guitar I've ever heard!”.
